This weekend was a zoo

Well, not really, but this past weekend we (the fam and I) WENT to the zoo. I was SUPER excited about this because it was the grand opening of the new polar bear exhibit and I love polars bears. The bears themselves were the same (cute as always), but there area around their enclosure has some new additions (including this 12 foot tall polar bear statue)

The last thing we did at the zoo was feed the giraffes! The kids were all VERY excited about the prospect of this -- until the last minute when they all chickened out (except for Ryley - she stood as FAR as she could from them!). So here I am!

I must be crazy.

I just signed up for another half marathon.

No that in and of itself probably doesn't make me crazy.

It is 13 days before my wedding!

LOL - NOW you think I'm crazy, right?

I'll be running the Disneyland Half again this year (my third half marathon!) with one of my very dear friends (and bridesmaid) Theresa.

Who am I?

I'm Ali. I've been blogging about my wedding for over a year now (it's still about six months away) and I decided to start another blog because I'm definitely more than JUST a bride.

This blog is going to encompass all the other aspects of my life, my family, my running, books I enjoy, everyday happenings, and many other random bits of my everyday life. I'm sure I'll post about the wedding occasionally too, but I'm going to try my best to contain most of that stuff in my other blog.
